We wanted to provide a quick update on our upcoming Spring and Summer season, as well as shed some light on our attempt to obtain a year-round entertainment license.
On December 31st, the The Hull Board of Selectmen unanimously voted in favor of granting the C-Note a year-round entertainment license. Unfortunately, our request was denied by the State of Massachusetts. We are currently evaluating alternative options that would allow us to operate during the months of February and March, and have requested an appeal with the State. Nonetheless, we hope to reopen very, very soon.
Let’s take a look at what’s ahead for ‘09. We have decided to launch a summer concert series that will feature the best local and national rock bands. There are hundreds of amazing rock bands around Boston, the South Shore and all across New England. Unfortunately, these bands have very few - if any - opportunities to play on the South Shore; until now! These rock performances will take place on Thursday nights, beginning May 21st.
